Before coming to Enid, I lived in Edmond. I went to and graduated from Edmond Memorial High School. Go Bulldogs! I then continued my education at the University of Central Oklahoma where I majored in Elementary Education and got my Bachelors in Education.
I have attended many professional developments to enhance my teaching experiences: Great Expectations, Max Teaching, Nuts and Bolts, and Literacy First training.
This summer has brought a lot of new and exciting changes to my life. At the beginning of June I married my best friend. You may know her as Ms. Burdick, but now she is Mrs. Nicolin. We have no children but hope to have children one day. Unless you count our dog, he is like our child. His name is Mowgli and he is a fur ball of fun. He enjoys going on walks in the park, playing catch, and tummy rubs.
Hi! Welcome to my home page. I’m glad you stopped by. My name is Mathew Nicolin and i have lived in Oklahoma for the past 29 years. Originally from Edmond, I made my way up to Enid 6 years ago for a job opportunity teaching at Garfield! It’s been quite the experience and I have cherished every moment teaching the children that are in my classroom throughout the years. During my free time and when school is out for the summer, i enjoy playing frisbee golf, hiking the mountains in Colorado, or spending quality time with my girlfriend while walking my dog, Mowgli. Also, I love books! Whenver I am blessed with free time, I love to crack open a new book and dive into the adventure that is waiting for me between the pages. Books are great!
If you need to contact me, please do not hesitate to send me an email. My email is Msnicolin@enidk12.org
